In the words of Will Smith “I’m goin’ to Miami”…. next month to be precise.
We booked the flights on Tuesday and I’m all ready to go! I’m excited as Miami looks amazing, but sort of scared also. And I really have to save some money before I go – only three pay days until I leave and my trip to Sydney was meant to be my big holiday for the year so I’m still trying to get back on my feet after that.
I know it could be amazing and the launch of the great love affair of my life, or it could be a disaster and I’ll be counting the days until I leave. The boy has paid too, which is lovely (and quite frankly I couldn’t have afforded to pay for quite a long time to go there) but I am finding it a bit uncomfortable to be on the backfoot.
I’m also going to keep it very quiet that I’m going, so I don’t have to answer a lot of awkward questions when I get back if things don’t work out. Basically if they don’t actually get in touch and ask if I’m going to go out there, they won’t know about it! Fair enough? So this blog is great, as it’s a way for me to pour out my thoughts in a confidential manner.
Oh well, it’s done now!
